Pompadour
There is a reason for the name Pompadour. It was named after Madame de Pompadour, an 18th century French lover of art and literature and a gourmand. She was also the first woman in France to engage in serious baking. Madame Pompadour's footsteps, her beauty and elegance, and the lightness of her words fit perfectly with the image we had in mind when we founded the store: an upscale, elegant, European-style bakery. Thus, the name "Pompadour" was born. Pompadour. Although the name is now familiar and loved by many of our customers, in the early days of the company, there were many discussions before the name was decided upon, and it was a very difficult process, with more than 100 names being proposed. Whenever a customer calls us "Pompadour," we feel that it was worth all the hard work and effort.

Visa contactless
Visa Contactless is a payment technology that enhances the convenience of Visa debit and credit cards. With Visa Contactless, cardholders can make quick and secure transactions by tapping their card on a contactless-enabled payment terminal. This eliminates the need for swiping or inserting the card and entering a PIN for small-value purchases, making the payment process faster and more efficient. Visa Contactless transactions use near-field communication (NFC) technology to transmit payment information securely between the card and the terminal. This technology ensures that the card remains in the cardholder's possession during the transaction, enhancing security. Visa Contactless is widely accepted at merchants around the world, providing cardholders with a hassle-free payment experience.
